Austin Leclerc

Austin Leclerc, Class of 2015, is a great example of just how versatile a technical education can be! 🛠️👨‍🍳🇺🇸
Austin earned his technical certificate in Culinary Arts before continuing his education at Springfield Technical Community College for Automotive Engineering. He went on to serve in the Marine Corps as an HVAC Technician, then transitioned to a career as a CNC Machinist while earning his Associate’s in Mechanical Engineering. He’s now completing his Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering at Western New England University.
“Even though I didn’t stay in culinary and have changed career fields numerous times, I still use the skills and knowledge I learned every day.”
Today, Austin works as a CNC Machinist at IMI Engineering, where he loves creating and engineering projects from start to finish. He credits Pathfinder’s trade-based education, especially the Cooperative Education Program, with helping him mature and gain invaluable real-world experience.
Thank you, Austin, for your service, and congratulations on your continued success!

Marisa Curtis

A graduate of the Health Assisting program, Marisa is now making a difference as a Nurse Manager at Pioneer Valley Health and Rehab. 💙
Her advice for current students? Take your program seriously. “It will only benefit you in the future when you choose to work in the career path you studied at Pathfinder Tech!”

Emily Carpenter

Meet Emily Carpenter, a graduate of the class of 2017! 🎓
Emily is now a Banker with Liberty Bank, but her journey started in Pathfinder Tech’s very first Hospitality class with Mr. O’Connor. Through hands-on experiences in the community and time spent learning every role in our restaurant, Perso, Emily discovered the value of service, professionalism, and real-world skills.
Before entering the banking world, she honed those skills as a fine dining server at several restaurants, most recently at The Capital Grille in Hartford, CT.
Emily’s advice to current students? “Go to a technical high school. It will teach you more life skills than you could ever imagine.”
From the dining room to the financial world, Emily’s story shows just how far a PT education can take you. 💙💛
