Student Guide

First Class Session

Upon arrival at the school, only park in available, non-designated parking spaces–no earlier than 3:00 PM. All students should enter through the main school entrance via the right-hand set of doors, where you will sign-in and be greeted by a staff member.

Sign In/Sign Out Procedure

All students are required to sign in upon arrival and sign out upon departure. A computer station will be available in the lobby entrance where students can sign in/out digitally.

Supplies & Materials
  • Students may be required to bring supplies or specific materials for class. Please remember to review your course description, prior to your first class session, and bring any supplies listed.
  • For questions regarding supplies and/or materials please contact your instructor via your Populi student profile -OR- contact the school at 413-284-0028.
Cancellation Policy

P.M. Pathways reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment, or instructor availability, or to change class schedules due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a class cancellation, P.M. Pathways will make every effort to contact students via email or phone as soon as possible.

Refund/Withdrawal Policy

All P.M. Pathways programs are non-refundable upon the start date of class; or thereafter. All tuition paid to date will be forfeited. Any Student who withdraws or is terminated from the program after the first night of class is still financially responsible for full tuition. No Student will be able to register for any new classes until unpaid balances are paid in full.

To withdraw from a program, you must contact the Adult Evening Education Coordinator via email at Adult@PathfinderTech.org or by calling 413-284-0028.

Inclement Weather

Safety is our primary concern. When the day school is canceled due to weather conditions or other emergency events, evening classes may also be canceled.

In the event of inclement weather expected in the evening, a cancellation decision will be made by 3:00 PM and students will be notified via email. Canceled classes will be postponed to a later date, in collaboration with the instructor and per approval from the Adult Evening Education Coordinator.

Substance-Free School Campus

Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical School District is a substance-free school district. Use of any kind of illicit substances, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, and/or vaping products is strictly prohibited and NOT allowed in any school buildings or on school grounds.

Pathfinder Tech offers a wide range of vocational technical programs that give students a competitive advantage both in college and the workforce. These sixteen programs are designed to help students create and follow pathways to a career of their choice.  Pursue your passion and enjoy your education!

The Cooperative Education Program at Pathfinder is an optional experience for seniors and juniors (second half of the school year) having a minimum 1,000 hours in their technical area. Through a cooperative arrangement between the school and employer, the student will receive job placement related to their technical area of study during their “shop week” with wages paid by the employer. To be eligible, a student must have the recommendation of their technical program teachers, meet the required grade, attendance, and discipline standards. The student must also have their OSHA 10-hour card. Some technical areas may require additional certifications prior to entering the program.
